Young Life begins in Valdosta/Lowndes Co.
This year we are celebrating 10 years since the ministry of Young Life started in our town. We are blessed with all the Lord has done through this ministry in those 10 years and trust that He is not finished. We have plans to grow our ministry, our impact, and the Kingdom of God!
Volunteer Leaders
These volunteer leaders pursue kids on their turf, focusing on what matters to them - fun, adventure, friendship, a sense of belonging, a desire to be fully known and fully loved. By doing that, we earn the right to share with kids what we believe matters most of all - the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you know someone who would be a great volunteer leader, please contact our Young Life office.
Camp
THE BEST WEEKEND/WEEK OF A KIDS LIFE! We believe that to be true. We believe Young Life camp is a special place. It's 5-star camping for kids. Every detail is thought through and things are done with excellence so that all distractions are removed in order to allow kids to focus on what matters most - Jesus.
Campaigners
Campaigners is an opportunity for leaders to go deeper with kids. Every campaigners consist of at least two things: reading scripture and conversations with each other. Most of these meetings happen around a meal or coffee but not all. The main goal is for kids to be in the Word learning more about a God who loves them.

Each of these ministries consist of volunteer leaders, and are backed by people in our community, who care deeply about seeing adolescents come to know Jesus and have their lives forever changed. Knowing Kids by Name
Our leaders make it a point to get to know kids by name. There's something special about someone saying your name. It makes you feel loved, cared for, and known. We want kids to feel and experience that each day. Our desire is for the number of kids known by name to increase each year.
Club
THE BEST NIGHT OF THE WEEK! Young Life and clubs are full of energy, excitement, and fun which is funneled down to the end of the night where they hear one of their leaders share a message about Jesus Christ. Our desire is that each kid that walks into a Young Life club is welcomed by a leader and leaves that night feeling loved and accepted for who they are, and having a better understanding about who Jesus is and what He did for them.

Your story matters, and it can make a difference beyond what you imagine.
Volunteer your time to work directly with young people.
Support the staff and leaders as part of the local adult committee.
Give resources to start or sustain the financial foundation at the local or national level.
